Day 18 - Newberg, OR (Day 3)

This is a stay-at-home kind of day. It's overcast, calm and the temperature is in the low 70s.

A Waffle Morning
We had a casual wake up and some fun by having a waffle duel for breakfast. Actually, we used two waffle makers to make three kinds of waffles to be served with blueberries and real maple syrup.

A Visitor
Grandpa Kernan stopped by after breakfast. He brought flowers and fresh fruit for Barbara.

Classic Cars
There's a classic car dealer in Newberg. American Classics and Hot Rods has quite a selection of toys for boys. A sampling of their inventory follows.
'56 Pontiac Star Chief Custom
'68 Cadillac Coup Deville
'73 Ford Mustang Mach I
'53 Chevrolet Bel Air
'49 Lincoln
'63 Chevrolet Impala SS
Buick
'66 Plymouth Barracuda

Project Progress
Kenny & Dick worked on the apple press. Some progress, more to do.

Airstream Service
Yesterday Dick spotted a loose bearing dust cap on the same tire that failed in Michigan. Research suggests it's a problem that needs to be resolved before we head home. We were able to schedule a service appointment at the Portland Airstream dealer on September 11th.
