Day 20 - Newberg, OR (Day 5)

The day started as cool and stayed that way. Our morning was especially cool because we ran out of propane overnight and the furnace stopped working. A quick jaunt outside in slippers to switch tanks solved the problem.

The weather changed from sunny to overcast to light rain and back again throughout the day.

About the Day
We planned for a visit by Eric Witchey on Friday. Dick and Carol slipped away for a breakfast at Coffee Cottage and shopped for groceries.

Kenny got confirmation that the new tractor would be delivered Monday.

Carol and Lucy visited the library while William napped.

Kenny and Dick built stage risers for Barbara's youth theater classes.

Stage risers attract some real actors

We had another fun dinner. They all are filled with laughing and teasing.

William enjoys the appliance ads,

Actually, William enjoys almost everything.

Lucy really enjoys drama.

Quiet moments are few, but sweet.

We ended the day by watching the 4th quarter of the Michigan vs. Utah game ... Utah won 24-17.
