Day 26 - Portland, OR (Day 4)

We're finding that if you wake up to a gray morning in Portland ... stick around, things will get better. They did today. It was sunny and clear by noon.

A Fun Breakfast
The Winsleas had a busy day. They were off doing important things by the time we got up. So, we went to breakfast at Petite Provence where we enjoyed delicious baked goods and breakfast selections in a French bistro setting.

Jacob's Track Meet
Elizabeth, Anna and Carol went to Jacob's track meet with strict instructions to not embarrass him. He ran the 3K and did well (21st out of 118).
Go, Jake!

Fence Gate
Dick finished the gate project.
Done, but will it fit?
Yep!
(with some plane convincing)

Brownie Class
Grandma Carol showed Anna how to make her famous mint brownies.
We haven't tested them yet.

Last minute update: we have each performed a QA test and find them to be EXCELLENT!
